I was feeling saucy while at EHC and decided to get a Sativa dominant strain. Lemon Skunk delivered with an uplifting energy boost. It was a bit fuzzier in the head than I would have liked, but that’s just a personal preference. If you’re looking for a way to get things done during the day and still have energy, or to stimulate conversation, Lemon Skunk should be on your list of strains to try.

Kush strains have always been revered in the medical community. It’s a powerhouse of an Indica, relieving many symptoms including body pain and insomnia. This Blackberry Kush is one of the tastiest Kushes I’ve come across. It’s thick and sweet, making me want to smoke more. It has a gentle creep that relaxes more and more as the high progresses. Blackberry Kush also makes a great apéritif. Just make sure you have enough food and try not to pass out while eating!

Overall Conclusion: Fresh, potent, and unique, I was not expecting a lot out of this as I had been on a Kush binge prior to this—and also subscribe to Kush as one of my top strains.—but was pleasantly surprised by the potent yet delectable taste and the hybrid high. On a side note, I generally found that smoking this out of a bong, blunt, or joint enhanced the flavor, whereas a bowl or pipe usually diminished it, as it took on a smokier, more burnt taste—not unpleasant though. Vape is a happy medium.

As a Kush man, it is hard for me to be really impressed by hybrids or sativas, but this is an exception. I would definitely rank this among my top ten hybrids, top twenty ever, and maybe top five diesels. I am a fan of really strong Sour Diesel, and this definitely lived up to its hybrid cousins name, but I also appreciated the unique Blue NYC diesel high that preceded the more energetic, sativa buzz.

This was some of the best bubble hash I have had in the state. It lit rather then bubbled but was still a surprisingly strong bubble hash. It worked amazingly well to cure ADD as well as focus me both before and after a run. Great medicine for working out or accomplishing a task, it had me medicated for hours off small bowls in my vaporizer and water pipe.
I unfortunately received pre-weighed out two grams that weighed in together at 1.8, but the owner said I could bring it in to get my money back. I opted not to due to the excellence of this product and others they have.

This white rhino is a quick pick me up during the day or night. Like biting into a green apple this strain will wake you up with a crisp snap on the first hit. It was well cured and manicured, but was incredibly fluffy, which didn’t have me complaining. Filled up many vapor bags when I would throw it in, but eventually always turned a bit sour.
Great strain for hit it and quit it medicating, you probably wont need very many bowls to get where you want with this great bud.

Every once in a while a strain comes around that has something special. Bombs Over Baghdad is one of those strains. It’s very soft-spoken when it comes to looks, smell and taste, but MAN does it have a lot to say. The high is complex and relieves multiple symptoms. This is one of the few Indicas I have come across that doesn’t leave me useless during the day and is narcotic enough to knock me out at night. You can tell a great deal of care went into growing and curing. This is a strain I could smoke all the time and not get sick of.

Before I go any further, it’s time to clear something up. Trainwreck did not get its name from people who grew near train tracks and there was a wreck. Nobody freaked out and went to pull the plants early. The tracks weren’t even used during the 70’s. Trainwreck (90% Sativa) got it’s name because that’s what your grow room will look like. Very lanky plants that have unbelievable yield. It’s origins are Thai, Mexican Sativa and Afghani. I think it’s one of the most medically important strains I have come across. Boasting over 20% THC content, wonderful antidepressant properties, and has also been highly recommended for migraines.

All around I gave this bud a B-. It looks and smells great, and the buzz is a happy one. I did have one problem with it, however. It dried up QUICK. After about 3 days into my 1 week supply, it was turning to powder. I had to pack bowls to finish it off, and it looked like i was smoking bowls of kief. It’s a possibility that the bud was just a bit too dry when I bought it. I didn’t think it was “user error” because the other couple strains I had didn’t dry out this bad. I would recommend this bud for cooking, tinctures, hash, etc.

I’ve gone to SMMA a few times now, and it is my collective of choice. Friendly knowledgeable service, and good prices (range from $10-12 a gram) on an awesome selection. You can tell it’s a professional place, and not just someone that wants to sell weed. Care is put into everything, and helping the patient is priority one. I would highly recommend SMMA for your medicine.

I had to pick some of this up, having never tried tincture before. Being a little naive, I put the first dropper full under my tongue, like I would have any other herbal tincture. The burn was pretty bad, and it left the area under my tongue raw. This would be great to have when you’re out and about, and smoking isn’t an option. I also see possibilities in using tincture for edibles. Can we say Jell-o shots?
