Overall Conclusion: Fresh, potent, and unique, I was not expecting a lot out of this as I had been on a Kush binge prior to this—and also subscribe to Kush as one of my top strains.—but was pleasantly surprised by the potent yet delectable taste and the hybrid high. On a side note, I generally found that smoking this out of a bong, blunt, or joint enhanced the flavor, whereas a bowl or pipe usually diminished it, as it took on a smokier, more burnt taste—not unpleasant though. Vape is a happy medium.

As a Kush man, it is hard for me to be really impressed by hybrids or sativas, but this is an exception. I would definitely rank this among my top ten hybrids, top twenty ever, and maybe top five diesels. I am a fan of really strong Sour Diesel, and this definitely lived up to its hybrid cousins name, but I also appreciated the unique Blue NYC diesel high that preceded the more energetic, sativa buzz.

Looks:
Fantastic short and fat arrow-head shaped nugs that curled at the tips. Ripe, plump dark green calyxes coated in small tan colored trichs. Long, fire orange hairs envelop the buds, which were sponge-like to the touch, yet also very firm. Smell:
Like sweet, musky, skunky at first then floral and berry after tones. I don’t want to be clichéd and say it smelled like diesel, because really it didn’t. It smelled strong but also slightly sweet, almost like incense. But man was it strong, double bagging and glass jarring the strain only meant that every time I opened the jar a thick waft of potency leaked into the room. My car reeked for 2 days.
Taste:
Basically like the smell, if not stronger. The taste lingers on the tongue and especially in the nostrils. It’s a heavy taste, somewhat sweet, but very much like incense combined with compost. Despite my description, the taste is very satisfying, and is actually what had me coming back for more and more. The Sour Diesel genetics really come out in the taste.
Buzz Type/Length:
Mixed, very unique buzz type that initially involves a heavy head high and really stooooned feeling, but then breaks into a warm, light, and even energetic sativa buzz. Practically no comedown. Very clean hybrid. One of my and my buddies best buzz since some nice Blue Dream a few weeks back. Top shelf for sure! Long. Decent 2-3 hours maximum depending on quantity smoked. Hits fast hard and maintains. And you will be hungry. I promise!
