I’ve gone to SMMA a few times now, and it is my collective of choice. Friendly knowledgeable service, and good prices (range from $10-12 a gram) on an awesome selection. You can tell it’s a professional place, and not just someone that wants to sell weed. Care is put into everything, and helping the patient is priority one. I would highly recommend SMMA for your medicine.

Menu:
The menu varies from day to day. There's never a bad selection. The last time I was there I had 16 strains to choose from. They also have tinctures, cookies, green butter, hash and clones
Staff:
Atmosphere:
The waiting area has a very comfy couch and chair. When it is your turn, you are brought into another room with a small display case and a whiteboard with menu and prices.
Security:
There are security cameras outside and in, and doors are only unlocked long enough to let someone in or out.
Delivery:
no
Pros:
Very friendly and helpful, extensive knowledge on all products, good prices.
Cons:
I guess the only con for me is that it's a bit of a drive to get there (Queen Anne)

I too just started as a member of this great shop. chron Dom is the man. He and Stacy have great knowledge and the selection is awesome. Plus the clones look wonderful.
I feel safe and welcome here. I too wrote a review on cannabis.com under the Washington state medical forum.

In the past 5 years I have been to all the patient co-op’s in the Northwest area and the Seattle Medical Marijuana Association is hands down the best organization I have ever seen. Cozy environment with ample parking. The staff is super knowledgeable and actually took the time for a private consultation to inform me about what medicines would work best to treat my pain. The SMMA has the most diverse and highest quality selection of medicine I have ever seen. Very reasonable suggested donations too. If you are looking for the best quality medical marijuana, look no further. This place is Da BOMB!

I don't know who posted these other reviews but this place was the most ghetto I've ever been to. The place is nothing but a shitty little house, parking for two AND THE WORST PART WAS THEY ONLY HAD TWO OF THE STRAINS THAY CLAIM ON THEIR SITE! Fifteen MY ASS! Also I bought some of their brownies AND THEY WERE SHIT TOO! Fucking waste of time.

I just had my first visit to SMMA and being a female, I did not find it 'ghetto' at all. A small house is what I live in, so I didn't write it off as quickly as others I guess.
I just got back from a year in CO and while I am a spoiled from all the 'real' dispensaries there, this place had a decent selection of strains and good prices on them. They didn't have the exact strains their website had pictures of, but since it doesn't say daily menu I didn't really hold it against them. I guess I could have asked when I made the appointment if I had my heart set on a particular strain.
I felt fairly safe as they checked me out at the door, and the staff was friendly enough. I don't need someone pretending they are my best friend, but also don't want to be left drifting, and they were good like that.
Since it is by appointment only, I was made aware I was in a time slot so to speak, but I'm not the type that nitpicks forever, so I didn't feel too pressured because they were very nice. Edibles aren't my thing but the free cookie def. stimulated my appetite! SMMA was picked mostly for the convenience factor at first, and I'm glad I did.
