With all the latest buzz surrounding Evergreen Holistic Center recently, I had to make a trip out west to check them out. Yesterday THCadmin and I took a little drive to Kent so I could just that. Evergreen Holistic Center is conveniently located off Central Ave S in downtown Kent. They have ample parking spattered with a few bank locations near by. The entrance/waiting room is very tidy and clean. There are a couple simple chairs to sit on and a small television for viewing pleasure while waiting. The first person I encountered was co-owner Steve. He was taking care of verifying my script. Unfortunately it took a couple of minutes because of the Dr.’s side of things. He was extremely polite and patient while waiting with me for the call back. During this wait, the other owner Charles came out and offered everyone a beverage to drink. I never expect beverages to be offered, but it always a plus when they do!

After I got verified we went into the back room were they keep their meds. They easily had around 10 different strains. I told them I was looking for their best quality meds and Charles immediately went into the back. After I had put a huge dent in their candy bowl, he came back out with a couple of special strains. After looking over all his fine meds I decided on the extremely dense Grand Daddy Purple (his personal strain), Blueberry, Gauda, and Qwerkle. One thing I especially liked about Evergreen Holistic is that they weighed out everything right in front of you so you can see the weight. Also all of his sacks were over .2 or .3 than what I’m used to getting at other clubs. (I don’t know why more coops do not do this because its not like we don’t take it home and immediately weigh it anyway.) They have a white board listing all the prices of each strain that also includes any specials that they may have at that time.

They also have a full stock of Green Goodies Label equipped with cookies, fudge, pasta, tincture, etc. It is obvious that they have recently opened as there is not much in the way of decor. The quality of medication was easily one of the best I have seen to date. The staff was extremely friendly, generous, and knowledgeable. We ended up staying there for over an hour and half because the staff is so easy to get along with and talk to. I would recommend Evergreen Holistic Center to any medical marijuana patient. And since they are conveniently located in Kent, I see great things in the future for this club!
