This was a funny bud for me to try to dissect for review, as it had a few contradicting qualities in my opinion. The look was above average that led me to believe it was gonna be a high quality smoke. After the initial smell-test I had reassessed my opinion as there was really no distinct, strong smell. However, the taste didn’t resemble the smell as there was much more flavor the smell had initially indicated. The quality of high was awesome for a morning or day time smoke as it doesn’t reduce you to the seat of your pants. The head high was awesome and it definitely put me in a really good mood. I would recommend this weed for anyone who is a member of Green Hope. (And if your not, what are you waiting for!!)

Looks:
The best looking bud purchased from Green Hope that day. Also the only weed from Green Hope that came in an actual one gram bud. The nug is a nice, light shade of green with a wide variety of red and orange hairs. The crystals are amazing on this bud and is one of the attractive qualities that made me pick this bud. When cracking open the bud you could see the crystals fly off the bud--a testament to the quality of trycomes! Smell:
The smell was pretty standard as it wasn't anything special. Had a tiny hint of pine, but I'd say it was rather on the un-stinky side. My personal prefference is that my weed to have a strong scent to it. I don't know if scent is directly linked to quality. Something I may have to research at a later date. Upon coming into my house after smoking a cigarette, the weed smelled as better than it did when it was in the bag!
Taste:
The taste was much better than the smell. Due to the kind of lack of smell, I thought the taste would be rather bland as well. This was certainly not the case as it had a nice flavor to it. The second hand smoke was one of the better ones in recent memories.
Buzz Type/Length:
Type/Length: This particular strain produced a great morning high. I decided to try this out for my morning smoke as it is indica and I didn't want to start 4/20 on the couch all day! It proved to be a great choice as it produced a great head high that resulted with an unknown ear to ear smile. It also didn't deter me from doing anything as I got motivated to do the dishes then write a review. The intense head high lasted for about 20 minutes while the buzz is running strong here over an hour later.

- Your feelings are correct, scent can have corollary relationship with quality. Generally, marijuana that produces a good-sized funk does so because of an abundance of varying terpens and terpenoids in the bud, which are responsible for both smell and flavor. Growing pot and really taking advantage of these smells and bringing them out so that they are as strong as possible is not always easy, and a sign that your shit is grown right. If all the preceeding is true, then the finished product will have a more complex cannibinoid profile, and perhaps even more cannibinoids to begin with, which will result in a more complex and likely more enjoyable high.

- So while it isn't the smell that MAKES it good, strong smelling pot is a sign things were done correctly and that the weed has made the most out of its genetic potential. Because of this, it will likely be better than the same clone grown under less than ideal circumstances and resulting in less odor and a less complex or powerful high. Of course this is a generality and not always the best indicator, as some strains do not have the same genetic capacity for odor as others. However, it isn't a bad place to start. Just as good as looking at trichome coverage, in my opinion.
